Kore Ingoa

My band piece is finished! After months and months and months and months and months and months of hours sitting in front of the computer, writing something playable and nice sounding, it's done! Kore Ingoa was hard for me to name, but I eventually managed to do the thing. The irony is that Kore Ingoa is Maori for Untitled.

Lani's Fantasy

I wrote this piece last night for a friend of mine's birthday. Happy birthday!
I spent about an hour on it, but again, shorter pieces with fewer instruments don't take me as long to write and I think it turned out very well.

Tribute

Over the period between Pokemon and this piece, I was working on a composition for band, one that I am nearly but not quite finished with.

Tribute is a song that I composed to honor my grandmother, who was very sick. I knocked it out pretty quickly, but I think the end result was a really beautiful piece of music.

Pokemon HG+SS Medley

When I was going through my Pokemon phase (I was 12 years old, which maybe was a little late) I listened to the music in the one game I owned, Heartgold. Basically, I thought to myself, wouldn't it be great to make concert band music out of this? This was, I believe, shortly after Cipher and shortly before I began focusing on my Double Cello Concerto, which I still haven't finished.
When I completed this (it took me almost half a year), I attempted to get my school band to play it, and failed miserably. This is not a piece of music that is possible to play unless you have extreme talent, but it sounds nice and was awesome to write.

Cipher

After Out in the Wild, I tried my hand at arranging. Cipher is originally written for synth, by Kevin Macleod. After listening to it a few times, I decided I wanted to arrange it for band as an Alto Sax feature. This piece is not great to actually play in a band, but it was fun to arrange and it sounds all right.
